SANDRA DYEAK, CMP

Sandra is an events industry veteran with 20 years experience and a "make it happen" reputation.  She is a passionate and motivated Private Event Sales Director with expertise in restaurant sales, event design, production, contract development & negotiation, P&L’s, operations management, and staff leadership. Sandra thrives under pressure while seamlessly executing events that garner rave company reviews, repeat business and referrals. She also uses her unique background in theatre to create an unforgettable experience that results in increased revenue for the company and the client. Sandra analyzes sales and marketing data to educate and empower her team and cross-functional staff to improve the customer experience. She also has experience working with local, national, and international political dignitaries, key decision makers and VIPs. 

Sandra’s Career Highlights:

  • Built 11 structured restaurant events programs over the past 7 years to drive growth (The French Room, City Hall Bistro, The Pool at The Adolphus, Sissy’s Southern Kitchen, Lisa Garza Taste, Shelby Hall, Hilton Garden Inn, Cane Rosso Restaurants, Cane Rosso Mobile Pizza Oven, Zoli's Pizza, Ferrari's Italian Villa & Chophouse). Created foundation, organization, and standard operating procedures. Oversaw event logistics and production resulting in a remarkable client experience.

  • Managed THOUSANDS of events throughout her tenure as a restaurant sales manager and procured MILLIONS OF $$$ in SALES.

  • Acted as President of the Meeting Professional's International Dallas/Fort Worth Chapter for the 2022-2023 term.​ The MPI D/FW Chapter membership includes over 450 of the most elite event planners and suppliers in the city with a combined buying power of over $400,000,000. 

  • Managed restaurant events at the iconic Adolphus Hotel - creating a brand new events program for the 100 year old hotel with revenue of $850,000 in the first year.  Worked with hotel executive team to integrate restaurant event needs with that of the hotel event and operating needs.  Acted as day-to-day liasion with hotel sales teams, hotel banquets team and restaurant staff.  Covered roles of sales manager, event manager, and banquet manager to ensure successful production of events.

  • Independently managed Lisa Garza Taste Studio handling payroll, A/R and A/P, sales, production, staff management, SOPs, marketing materials, contracting with vendors, insurance, sales tax reporting, TABC, banking, budgeting and P&Ls.

  • Event Manager for one of the largest convention centers in the country, George R. Brown Convention Center, managing events with up to 27,000 attendees.
